The bar closed too early for a night out on the town!!! Plus, the corridors need a serious cleanup to remove scuff marks. It certainly detracted from the overall vibe of the hotel!!!

Equal parts excellent and disappointing
The staff was friendly and helpful, and our early check-in made settling in easy. The location was perfect, right next to the Queen Victoria Markets and with convenient tram access.
Room noise levels were problematic. I struggled with disturbances from nearby traffic and some building work, which detracted from an otherwise enjoyable stay.

I liked the value for money and the cleanliness of the room.

On this visit was just disappointed with the outlook., I realise that all rooms can't have great views, but because I was on the 4th floor facing west , I was unable to open blind due to an open area outside window., Every other visit was higher and so was able to have natural light., Just a small disappointment this time !!!

Modern hotel
No bar, no parking, rooms are small, could hear elevator when in bed. Having a free pass to the local city baths 10 mins down the road doesn't really count as having swimming and spa facilities! No facilities except jaspers kitchen, which was closed when we were there as it was a Sunday. Don't know why this is a 4* hotel really. Could have stayed at a much better hotel than this for the money.

The room was well stocked and well-maintained, had comfy and included coffee and tea making equipment, a refrigerator, and glassware. The hotel had a central location and it was right next to a big indoor pool. Furthermore, to all conveniences in City.

Comfortable Room
Absence of personnel at REception. I had to ring the phone after waiting 5 minutes. Not a good look.

Friendly and helpful staff, very plesant room and location of hotel near Victoria Markets.
Room was lacking some drawers which would have been useful as we were there for 8 days.

Family with children, not bad but a bit costly
Had a little fun with the staff, they joked around like they knew us for years. The location was right next to a market, we could grab some food anytime, convenient for the kids.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but you know, you get what you pay for.
